QCC launches two new services to ensure safe and high-quality construction projects in Abu Dhabi. This comes as Abu Dhabi sees rapid growth in large construction projects, highlighting the need for reliable building materials.

The new services are Polymer Content Testing and Steel Wire Testing, both following international standards and helping contractors, engineering firms, and government projects. Polymer Content Testing checks plastic materials accurately, offering a local option instead of sending samples abroad, which saves time and money.

Steel Wire Testing examines wires for strength, flexibility, and hardness, making sure they meet global quality standards. These services are expected to enhance project reliability and strengthen infrastructure safety throughout the Emirate.

Eng. Abdullah Hassan Al Muaini, Executive Director of the Central Testing Laboratory Services Sector at QCC, highlighted the strategic importance of these services. He said, “The launch of these two services reflects our commitment to transitioning from a traditional laboratory to a strategic partner in Abu Dhabi’s urban and economic growth. QCC offers precise testing services of high-quality standards, which contribute to the development of the economy of Abu Dhabi, and the city remains one of the leaders of quality and safety.

The new services also aim to increase investor and developer confidence, increase investments, and enable Abu Dhabi to plan smart and sustainable cities.

QCC is also investing in current technologies and diversifying its services to remain an important partner in enhancing construction and infrastructure. There are numerous chemical, mechanical, and physical tests already offered by the laboratory, and the equipment is advanced, and the staff is highly qualified.
