Background :

Dubai Investments has taken full control of Clemenceau Medical Centre Dubai, buying out the remaining 80 percent stake to lift its ownership from 20 percent to 100 percent.

The deal was carried out through Dubai Investments Industries, a wholly owned arm of the group, and CMC Dubai now sits fully within the group as a subsidiary.

Based in Dubai Healthcare City, CMC Dubai has earned a strong name for clinical excellence and specialised treatment since it opened in 2020. The hospital runs over 100 inpatient beds and handles complex medical procedures alongside specialised care services.

Khalid bin Kalban, Vice Chairman and CEO of Dubai Investments, said full ownership of CMC Dubai shows the group’s confidence in the healthcare sector’s long-term growth prospects.

He pointed out that the acquisition fits the group’s broader approach of raising its stake in strong businesses where it can add value through hands-on stewardship and sustained investment.

Kalban said that owning the hospital outright gives Dubai Investments greater strategic and operational freedom, letting the group back CMC Dubai’s expansion plans, build up its specialised healthcare services and capture the full upside of its future growth.

The move marks a notable step in the group’s wider effort to grow its footprint in regional healthcare, building on the hospital’s standing within Dubai Healthcare City.

The acquisition reflects steady investor confidence in the UAE’s healthcare industry, which continues to grow on the back of rising demand for specialised medical care and growing investment in private healthcare infrastructure across the region.
